Internship Programs
There are two Types of Internship programs: Short Term Internship – this will be during School & College Vacations.
Long term Internship – this will be full year programs.
internship program in summer and winter may be held in May-June and December-January every year.
IMCR also offers internship for full year except during months of May-June and December-January, to students from various streams especially from law stream, to have attachment with the Commission in batches on short-term basis for a period of 15 days.
During the internship, the students are exposed to the functioning of various divisions of the Commission. They are also made aware of the process of complaints being attended to by the Commission as well as other issues being taken up. Allowing them interaction with the complainants also is an important feature.
What You Will Do
Track legislation on a variety of Civil and Human Rights issues.Monitor media coverage of policy issues.
Attend coalition meetings.Help to coordinate grassroots events. Attend Parliamentary hearings and briefings.
Conduct on- and off-line research to support Leadership Conference.
Provide administrative support.Plan and carry out an all-staff event with fellow interns.

Internship Schedule:
Internships are for a length of one school semester. For the fall, we require a 24-hour minimum weekly commitment. The summer program is full-time (40 hours per week).
Fall internship: 11-Sep-2023 to 08-Dec-2023; Application Deadline: 01-April.
Spring internship: 23-January-2024 to 19-April-2024; Application Deadline: 01-October.
Summer internship: 20-May-2024 to 09-August-2024; Application Deadline: 01-February.
Note: internships can be remote or office based.
